Today I’m going to share with you what you need to start horseback riding!
Since I jump these are some of the riding clothes I use!
Make sure you use a helmet as well! Troxel has helmets that will last you awhile, also you going to need some breeches. I LOVE kerrits breeches they give you good grip and they are super comfy!
Your also going to see in the photo a riding shirt or a show shirt. You can only use specific shirts for showing but riding shirts you can find everywhere and they help control sweating and they are very light weight.
Another thing your going to see in this photo are half chaps. You can find these on amazon etc. you put these over your riding boots to help your calves grip on!
Finally you will need some riding boots. Riding boots are designed to help your feet stay in the stirrups and also pick up the stirrups fast & easy! Usually these aren’t too expensive.
