There are SO many possibilities when it comes to these. Yes you can make meat and cheese boards for an appetizer but why should we stop there friends?? If it is the holidays you typically know what is going to be offered at the store and which are your favorites. To stay organized create a charcuterie board shopping list.
I don’t know about you but I like to stay somewhat organized so I don’t forget anything while I am there. Besides small candies you’re going to want to grab a package of plastic eggs to so you can decorate and fill a few with fun things like Jello slime or pennies! How to Make an Easter Charcuterie Board
In my day there was no such thing as edible grass but now there is!! You cannot always find it at the stores unfortunately but lucky you can buy it here any time of year. There are a variety of colors so choose at least 2 so you can wow it up. Not only is it pretty but so fun to eat too.
All of your favorite things! Chooses candies that are your favorites and if you have leftovers they won’t go to waste. Small eggs, edible Easter grass, chocolate candies, M&Ms, and Peeps are some of the most popular items.
There isn’t a lot of difficulty when it comes to creating one of these Peeps dessert ideas. Will say that there is NOT a wrong way to make one. You just want to get together a few small bowls, or ramekins work well too. If you have a large wood pizza paddle or cutting board that can be used to decorate. Or you can buy a tray you like.

Let’s talk about things we like to put on our snack board. Now I have found a bunny shaped tray once that was super cute. Used it year after year until it wore out. Look at the grocery or Dollar Store for cheap ideas first, then head online for others.

Easter Bunny Charcuterie Board
- Prepare
Get out the following items, or other small edible holiday items, enough to serve your guests. We used;
1. Mini Easter Snickers
2. Small chocolate candies
3. Cadbury Easter mini eggs
4. Candy coated chocolate eggs
5. Bunny marshmallows
6. Pink edible grass
7. Green edible Easter grass - Decorate
Pull some of the edible grass and place each rolled onto different parts of the egg board. Add a chick and some Hershey’s eggs on top of the nests.
- Fill
Use small ramekins or tiny bowls to add Easter colored M&M’s and Cadbury Easter eggs to a few of them. Place them onto the board. Place marshmallow bunny Peeps at the top of the board. Fill open areas with Easter snickers and jet puffed bunnies marshmallows.
Now unless some of the pieces are wrapped you won’t want to save what is left. Why? Um because a bunch of germie kids probably touched all of them trying to get a few. 😉 With this said you should just add some and keep refilling.
If you do not want to waste anything then go for everything that does have a wrapper, or you can tell kids they need to grab an egg filled with goodies. Let the adults serve themselves from the tray itself using spoons so fingers aren’t touching the food.
How to Serve a Charcuterie Board
People are going to want to grab some stuff and mingle so have little cups available. Dixie cups are cheapest, followed by clear Chinet stemless wine glasses that look a little bit nicer overall. Take your pick but plates will likely make everything roll around, but great for cheese and crackers if you are serving that as well.
