What can you add to White Chocolate Fudge?
The other fun variance of making homemade fudge is that you can change up the flavor. Using semi sweet chocolate, milk chocolate, or white chocolate chips are all delicious options! Since I’m a fan of white fudge recipes, I knew that white fudge was going to be at our Easter dessert table. That left the big question of if I wanted to add mini chocolate eggs or jelly beans – and as you can see, jelly beans won out!
Why do I add sweetened condensed milk to fudge?
Adding condensed milk to this fudge recipe is what helps to make it nice and creamy. It adds a richness that adds sweetness, with the ability to have every bite melt in your mouth.
Easy Easter Fudge Recipe
Let’s get down to the details on how to make this delicious fudge recipe. I promise you that it’s not hard to do at all – and you’ll end up with amazing results. Make sure to jump to recipe below so that you can get the exact measurements needed and exact steps!
How to Make White Fudge with Chocolate Chips
1. Prepare – Add parchment paper to the bottom of your pan, and then spray that with nonstick spray. Once coated, add 1/2 of the jelly beans and spread them out a bit.
2. Melt the chocolate – Add the chocolate chips and the condensed milk to a bowl and melt. Heat in 30-second spurts and stir between each time.
3. Add marshmallows – Add the marshmallows to the melted chocolate mixture. I like to stir using a rubber spatula so that it doesn’t become a sticky mess. Put the bowl in the microwave and heat in 15-second increments, stirring between each one.
4. Pour – Stir in the vanilla, then pour the fudge mixture over the top of the jelly beans. Then add the remaining jelly beans on top of the fudge.
5. Serve – Put the fudge mixture in the fridge to set overnight. Once you are ready to eat, let the fudge come to room temperature before slicing and serving.
I told you that this fudge recipe was simple, right? You don’t even have to turn on your oven – so rejoice in that fact!
Can You freeze fudge?
Absolutely! All you need to do to freeze fudge is to store the fudge in a freezer bag. I also like to wrap it in plastic wrap before placing it in the freezer bag so that I know I’m keeping it from going bad or getting freezer-burnt.
How to Make Microwave White Chocolate Fudge
One other very important pro tip when making this simple fudge is that you cannot and mustn’t burn the chocolate when you are heating it. A medium heat in the microwave is all that you need to really melt the chocolate.
Make sure that you don’t rush it – and stay close so that you are stirring in every 30-second interval. If you do burn it, you do have to throw the entire batch away and start from scratch! You cannot use any part of the chocolate that has been heated too much or burnt.

Easter Fudge
Equipment
- 1 9×5 pan loaf pan
Ingredients
- 11 oz white chocolate chips
- 2/3 c sweetened condensed milk
- 2 c marshmallows mini
- 1.5 c jelly beans or gum drops
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Lay a piece of parchment paper inside a loaf pan. Spritz with nonstick cooking spray. Place half of the jelly beans into the bottom of the pan.
- Put chocolate chips and condensed milk into a microwave safe bowl. Heat, uncovered, in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir vigorously, allowing the residual heat to help melt the chocolate.
- Add marshmallows to the chocolate and stir to coat. Return the chocolate to the microwave and stir every 15 seconds until melted. Do not overheat the chocolate.
- Stir in the vanilla. Pour the fudge over the jelly beans, pressing it down into an even layer between the jelly beans. Press remaining candies into the top of the fudge.
- Refrigerate overnight. For best results, bring to room temperature before cutting or use a knife heated with warm water and wiped dry to slice. Cut into squares.
